Historical overview
OTEMAN is a family-owned company which, since its origins, has focused on cutting technology for different sectors of industry. Our long business history has enabled us to become an international benchmark. Our cutting products have been marketed for years all over the world thanks to the confidence of our loyal customers who value our technology and our fast and efficient after-sales service.
OTEMAN was founded in 1960 by the Balsells-Mercadé family. Today, the company is managed by the second generation of the family and has always been a leader in innovation. Our production plant, as well as our engineering, sales, administration and management services, are located in modern and spacious facilities in the Barcelona area, in one of the most traditional industrial locations in southern Europe.
